Heather White's Review
I very much enjoyed Witchblood. It was a very unique twist on vampires that I've never read before. The book did remind me a little of the HBO TV series, True Blood, but it was different.

It was very well written. (FYI, it's a UK book, so some words were spelled different. This normally drives me nuts, but this book was good so I barely noticed). It flowed very well. Everything was explained in great detail and I never found myself asking questions. Emma did a great job of describing everything.

This is a YA book, but for the most part I felt like I was reading an adult book. Jessica was unlike most teenagers. I also would have liked a little more romance.

I do look forward to reading book 2 and see how the romance between Jessica and Daniel progresses. I also hope Luke is far out of the picture, because he's a douche. :) I also look forward to meeting the witches. It'll be fun!

  1. Great review ;-) Thanks Tess for hosting me this week - sorry I haven't been around... my broadband has been out (& still is) & it's really difficult accessing everything from phone.
